His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak
Chairman, Board of Directors
As Chairman of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation’s Board of Directors, His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak has led the corporation since its establishment in 2009.
HE Al Mubarak also holds key leadership roles in both the public and private sectors of the United Arab Emirates, including Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, a specialized government agency that provides strategic policy advice to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. He is also a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council since 2006, a Member of Abu Dhabi’s Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs. Khaldoon also leads several country files on behalf of the UAE, such as France, Korea and the United Kingdom.
As Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Investment Company, HE Al Mubarak has led the company’s significant evolution since its founding in 2002. Through organic growth, acquisition and merger, Mubadala is a $276 billion business with assets in more than 50 countries across six international offices.
In addition, His Excellency is Chairman of the Boards of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Global Aluminum, and City Football Group, as well as serves on the Board of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
HE Al Mubarak holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Tufts University, Boston (USA).
