Safety at ENEC
Our overriding priority
We are committed to achieving the highest standards of safety and quality as we work to deliver clean and abundant nuclear energy to the nation. This commitment is guided by our Culture of Safety, Operational safety and Industrial Safety activities.
All work on the country’s nuclear energy program is regulated by the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, the UAE’s independent regulatory authority. Our program also benefits from the expertise and operational experience of the global nuclear energy industry, as we strive to adopt best practices from operators around the world and from industry organizations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
Our Safety, Security & Safeguards Policy outlines our commitment to conducting work in a sustainable manner and effectively controlling environmental, health, safety and security risks through all phases of the nuclear energy plant lifecycle.
