Tayeb Al Awadhi is Senior Vice President of the Energy Department at EGA and a distinguished member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Under his leadership, EGA’s Energy operations have consistently met and surpassed world-class standards for safety, health, and environmental performance—covering land, water, and air—as mandated by international, regional, and local regulatory bodies.

Tayeb has played a pivotal role in enhancing EGA’s reputation within the UAE and has driven significant advancements in the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance across all areas. His lean methodology and strategic approach to implementation have delivered substantial cost-saving initiatives, supporting operational efficiency throughout the organization.

Tayeb holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science from University College Dublin, Ireland (1991), and joined EGA the same year as a Project Engineer. His experience spans efficiency, commissioning, project, and maintenance engineering and management, which paved the way for his current leadership role.
