Nawah Board of Directors Approves Mark Reddemann as CEO

The Board of Directors of Nawah Energy Company, the Joint Venture subsidiary of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), has approved the appointment of Mr. Mark Reddemann as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Reddemann will join Nawah as of 1 April 2018 as he transitions from his position of CEO of Energy Northwest, a US energy plant operator.

Mr. Reddemann brings 40 years of directly relevant nuclear experience to Nawah, as well as a demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing operations, focused teams and organizations. He will be tasked with leading the Nawah team in the preparations to operate and maintain the four nuclear Units of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in accordance with the highest standards of quality, safety, security and transparency.

The Board of Directors would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Robert Fisher, Nawah Chief Nuclear Officer, who assumed the position of as Acting CEO over the last months. Mr. Fisher will continue in his role as CNO, working closely with Mr. Reddemann.
